nitromors is the same as "albastine paint remover"? Available here in The Netherlands...if so, use gloves and apply it first on a little part of the fork to see how thick you need to do the rest.
I stripped my Alan (aluminium) with that...do it outside and do NOT use any iron tools (I used a wooden tool) to remove the paint. If you somehow get it on your skin wash it off with a lot of water.
