Norwood Road has been closed between Croxted Road and Rosendale Road since 16:00.
Without going into details, the road is likely to be closed for a good deal longer.

The police on the scene have confirm that a pedestrian was involved and described that person as a small child. no further information is available.

Every positive thought that I can muster is currently with that child and their family.

Glad that she's stable. The original outlook was far less positive.
I've heard other information surrounding the circumstance but can't provide citation so shan't indulge in rumour spreading.
