I think my phone choices are down to Optimus 4X, or HTC One X ... any eta's on release dates ? My (original) Google Nexus is looking a bit battered, and since I'm still running Korean baseband firmware it fucks up calls occasionally (or maybe just cuz I dropped it so much).

Does anyone want one of these cases for their tablet? I, obviously, no longer need it.
Tenner?

Anyone had any joy putting an ICS rom on their SGS2? Thinking of taking the plunge this evening.

HTC Sensation runs Strava very well and has done since I owned mine.

No problems with SGS1, I'd imagine SGS2 would be better as it's pretty close hardware wise to the galaxy nexus

Must just be the earlier HTC handsets that have the issue.
New job includes phone- which I suspect will be an iPhone.
Say what you will about them, at least they work.

The new version of Strava is farking fast. I'm guessing they now record straight away whether or not you have gps lock.

I've also rooted my Desire now and installed CyanogenMod7. It's great! I now have all the apps I want installed, with spare space. It's noticeably faster and more like ICS to use than Gingerbread on the whole. it's like having a new phone.
I tried to use spenceey's method, but because I was on 2.3.3 it didn't work - this was a bit scary, but instead I used Revolutionary (http://www.revolutionary.io) to root and get S-OFF.
I'd highly recommend this if you've got a Desire or Wildfire, it's really easy and it will also ask if you want to download and install Revolutionary recovery (an updated and reskinned version of clockworkmod, which is worth having).

I might do that to Mal's phone in the future since there's not been an update from Modaco for the Desire for ages.

Yes. AndyX rom is working wonderfully for me. He's been booted off xda though as he used a shite uploader. I've been running his 5.2 rom for a couple of weeks with no problems at all. I haven't tried his 6.0 as some users said 5.2 was the best. Use CF root for your phone if you haven't already and remove your battery for 5 minutes after rebooting with the rom installed to force close some processes you can't otherwise get to.
If you struggle downloading the zip file let me know and I'll try to send it to you.

I've been well impressed with the battery like on the last ICS rom I flashed, longest the phone has ever lasted by a long way. Not sure if it's the ROM, or the fact I fucked my phone up and had to start from scratch flashing various things to get it working
Got back from holiday on Saturday to find my 31trum case for the Transformer Prime waiting for me.
It is absolutely gorgeous and has actually gone one better than I asked for. I gave the dimensions for using it as a slip cover for the tablet part of the Prime. However, due to lovely soft leather it is a nice fit for the tablet but also a snug, secure fit with the keyboard dock attached. Bonus.
Would definitely recommend getting your tablet dressed up in some murtle S&M wear.
