Whilst I believe thiefs are pure scum, I'd seriously recommend not kicking someones teeth in because their riding your bike. What if they bought it from gumtree/ebay etc totally unaware that it was stolen?
Ebay & gumtree have been monitored heavily by both the police officer overseeing my case and of course myself, tbh I suspect it was sold on the street if at all...in which case anyone buying a bike off the street should know better. If someone willingly buys goods that have a high probability of being dogy, non-kosher, etc, etc then I have no sympathy. That said kicking someones teeth in is a bit harsh and I apologize for saying that, I am just still pissed about the whole situation.
