Things obviously had moved on in club since I was a member in the 70's. The furthest we got was a youth trip to the Cotswolds!

Found a couple more pictures - a few of us in full kit at Eastway in 92, unfortunately the photographer shaved the top of our heads off, and another one from Wales in the same year of Steve competing in a local evening 10.

I saw Steve Wharton recently and discussed the idea of having a reunion club run for ex-club members.Maybe a social paced ride of about 50k followed by a few beers when the weather improves. Anyone up for this?

I will dredge up more names if I can, I joined in the early 80's, I remember Malcolm taking me on a ride to assess my fitness when I had just started cycling, he took me round the hard riders! But the hardest rides were Wales, I remember on my first time there attacking Shuttle on the Sychnant pass with Martin Weedon, my god did I pay for that!! I also remember old one eye, he was one aggressive little dog, just like most of the riders!!!!!
