Installing a SRAM brake caliper to a carbon fork and I'm a bit hesitent to use the serrated-edge washer in case it rips into the carbon. Was thinking of adding a thin plastic "washer" between the fork and the metal washer as a bit of protection. Would that help at all or should I just replace the serrated washer for a plain smooth one?
