Pug is on hold as I fight with myself whether to keep it or not.
Rossin is very likely to end up on eBay.
Concorde....well come on thats a good deal innit!? Possibly build it up as a knock about ss or something.

Is the Rossin white fading to just chrome or is it paint? Either way it's rather tasty

No, no, no! I want to ride it. i remember lusting after this bike when I was younger and now I have the frame hung in my workshop. I know I'll get some stick for riding a pink and purple bike but I think it'll be worth it.

It's white to a kinda bronze colour with chrome forks and rear triangle:

Hi mate, Very interested in the peugeot and completely understand you'd desire to keep it! Was the frame designed for 700c or 27s? Will the brake drop be compatible with a modern ultra group set? Let me know man... I'm keen!
-
• #11
Ooof! Well as you're interested then that will make my mind up for me....
It was built for 700c and takes regular 39mm - 49mm drop brakes. The only limitation of fitting a modern 10 or 11 speed groupset would be the 126mm dropout spacing although this easily springs open so not really an issue.

Rossin frame tubing shape is known as 'Gilco' and that is a very good price.
-
• #16
Thanks Rod. I've been told Gilco a few times now, I thought it was a slightly different shape to mine but hey ho live and learn.
They're all lovely frames in their own right yet I still have them all!

Started to build the Concorde but run into problems with my stock of wheels. It now has a Shimano bb fitted too and the price is £110 including the stronglight headset, fluted seatpost and Shimano bb.
I have finally got round to taking some new pictures of the Rossin to put it on eBay but that'll probably be on Sunday evening so if anyone wants to make me an offer before then please do so. New pics here: http://s597.photobucket.com/albums/tt55/Telsun/Rossin%20Quattro/?start=all

But so small!

I had one of those peugots. Silly me sold the whole bike + extra pedals + extra tyres +brand new computer. For £150. I was an idiot.

You damn fool!!! I have my suspicions that it was not actually a 653 Athena but the French 653 version that had all French parts....
JacobBurke it is a little on the diddy side, an ideal gift for that special lady in your life; girlfriend, wife, sister, mother.....it's is mothers day soon, what a fantastic gift an extremely rare Italian buit Rossin frame would be!

Please note that the dropouts on the Concorde are semi vertical so although running it fixed is possible it will take a bit of faffing with.
All frames are sold.

Rossin - Record Professional - Quattro tubing
52cm x 52cm (ct x cc)
126mm rear spacing
Stunnning little Rossin frame. Fantastic paint job although it does have a few scratches and imperfections. The 3 main tubes are shaped like a four leaf clover I guess. I have tried to picture it but it's quite hard. Very special though.
Really have no idea on value of this. I have visions of putting it on eBay and it going for a bomb due to its uniqueness. No luck on here and I'll give it a shot on the bay to find it's true value. But for now I am going to say £300 posted.

Concorde Giro - Columbus Brain tubing
58cm x 57.5cm (cc x cc) (seat tube 59.5cm ct)
Rear spacing 130mm
Lovely frame but in a bit of a sorry state. The rather lovely red and chrome effect would look stunning if it was not for all the chips to the paint, it really could do with a respray. There is also a dent in the top tube, which is not huge but note worthy all the same.
There are also two note worthy blemishes to the chrome fork, there is a hairline crank to the chrome on the inside of the right fork arm and some chrome has been chipped off the outside of the left. Otherwise all the chrome on the frame and fork is good.
It is made from lugless Columbus Brain tubing and it clearly is a lovely frame with a little bit of time and investment.
£100 posted which now included a Stronglight Headset and a Seatpost.

Peugeot 653 Athena -** SOLD**
55cm x 55cm (ct x cc)
126mm rear spacing
I am so tempted to keep this for my spring bike so if anyone want to make me a decent offer on my commuter so that I can keep this let me know.
The frame is in nice condition with just a few marks here and there nothing really to note. Reynolds 653 tubing in a striking purple and pink finish with chrome where it counts.
£150 posted (including functional but a little tatty Stronglight headset)
Other one frame to follow.
