The 14R was inspired by this. The tubing walls are very thin and dent easily. Good for the track, but not a bike you can use and abuse on the streets. Which is what the 14R is for!

Just needs black bartape on both sides imo!

Also just so its listed here, the stem is a nitto pearl njs, the bars are b125AA and the seatpost is a nitto 65, headset and bb are campag, and the wheels are dura ace to open pros.
Awesome bike you got, very well made and some great details!
And yes, i'm Dutch and Rien is one of my cycling mates ;) -

Left is front, right is rear. Are there no cable guides on the bottom of the BB to make it more clear how the cables are routed?
Yes, the cable guides under the BB also support left side: front, right side: rear.
I am just in doubt on how to fit the adjusters, as I would think indexing the rear would require more precise adjustments (= the leftmost of the two)

Rear mechs have a barrel adjuster on them, front mechs do not.

can anyone reccomend a decent quality dual ratio for 1/8 chain?
the one pictured above is a Surly Dingle designed for 3/32
-
• #57342
I guess you could use a double chainring on the front and run 2 magic gears.

There are a couple of threads on gear inches etc. To get a couple of gears without switching chains within the limits of the dropouts/trackends is the name of the game.
For example 48x17/19 works for me with x number of links in a chain.

It's designed for 3/32 because that's a chain that can best deals with a non-straight chainline.

I'm in love.
I really want to replace my heavy and flexi BJ for a seta. I have a thing for fixed hill climbing. That^ would be perfect.

I too loved to have a Seta, it tick all the box, I can easily imaging it to be made a lots lighter than that.
Nice work Eingang, reckon you'll enjoyed that a lots more than your previous bike.
-
• #57349
there's quite a lot of space to make it lighter, sure, but not for me not yet, as i'll get my road bike in a few days. and the parts are already proofed and fine, as i rode them at the dodici.

Don't cut the fork. Unnecessary.
Also just so its listed here, the stem is a nitto pearl njs, the bars are b125AA and the seatpost is a nitto 65, headset and bb are campag, and the wheels are dura ace to open pros.
