The Langster frame and forks are great - I've been using an '06 (the same as in that photograph but in a different guise) for a while as a bad weather/winter fixed and it's superb.
It's light enough and handles well - far better than any of the bikes you've linked to.
Add a front brake and some grips and you'll be good to go.
