a bit confused on sizes.. they claim they do a 61cm but only list up to a 59 on their shop

Really? I think tis ugly as sin and there are much nicer bikes out there for the same money

what would you go for?

The Kagero for sure

I was very close to ordering one of these. The guy I was dealing with was really helpful - you should get in touch with geo queries as I'm sure they'll help out.
I think there is quite a long waiting time. Eventually just decided to get something steel instead (14R)

that's mine. the frames are stiff and nice and you can choose between a drilled road fork (as i have) or the pista one (alpina) without drilling. mine is seat 61, top 60 (c/c). nothing bad happened within the last 1 1/2 years, rode it nearly 5000km up to now.
and every change is possible (color, angles, custom sizes), but then you could have a long waiting time. -

Looks horrible, spoilt by the down tube!

nevermind then, could you tell me some more about it? i'm 6'4 and currently ride a 64cm bob jackson road bike from the 60's. top tube is 58cm. wheelbase is 100cm.

This is mine, it's a 53 and I'm pretty happy with it. I don't hink there are more options in the same price range -kagero is more expensive, cinelli's are also out of this range- I also own a 52 contini and in my opinion sizing is fine. I haven't had problems in two years with this frame. Marra and Jacopo are nice guys and definitely helpful.

i'm 6.3 and the seat tube is perfect. as i'm use it for touring/longer rides i'm often use the bullhorn at the end position, therefore the top tube is a bit long and i had to go for a shorter stem (from 110 to 90). besides that it's perfect, stiff, lovely drop outs. so if you want the aero down tube and the curved seat tube, go for it. i just noticed that they cost 100€ more then the years before, but i don't know why.
maybe i'm selling mine, but not before may.

I would definitely go for the drilled road fork.
I thought you could only have the Special with the aero down tube and curved seat tube?
So you're saying this used to cost EUR 520?
-
• #18
I payed 490+50EU
You can order a Gara with custom geo, which is basically a special without the curved seattube

Hi, I know this is an old thread. But I am seeking some advice:
I just ordered a Dodici Special, size 55. However I am not sure what size is right for me, Dodici Cicli shop recommend the Special 53. My height is (184cm) and inseam (33inch). I heard that the Dodici Special frame can run big so it may be good to size down…
I am planning to use the bike for short/long distance as well as the Velodrome. I am not getting the frame + build purely for track racing.
What do you guys think? Any advice and comments would be much appreciated!
Cheers.

seriously considering this.
I saw one (too small) in the classifieds, but as the're no other threads on it, can you share your views?
Would never pay hipster tax for a MASH, but I was also considering a Vigorelli, Bianchi SP or Leader 725
Thanks
