• I'm still having a clear out to raise funds for a good road bike so this time around, my Charge Plug Racer, medium, silver galvanized colour is for sale.

    I bought this new in May 2011 (I have the receipt) then changed pretty much everything on it (only frame & headset are original). I've only use it to cycle to and from work and never locked it / left it outside so it is in excellent condition - see the pics - no dents or scrapes.

    Frame size is medium, which corresponds to 54.5cm top tube and 59cm seat tube. The current set up is for me at 5ft10.5 - I would say that it'll fit someone 5ft8 to 6ft.

    Here are the built details:

    • Tange plain gauge frame, galvanized (so no rust), horizontal dropouts;
    • FSA Headset;
    • Boardman Carbon Pro forks (full carbon);
    • Shimano Tiagra front brake caliper with recent pads;
    • Dia-Compe Dirt Harry right brake lever (black/black);
    • 2 sets of handlebars - 90mm Giant stem with risers & Sunline Mushroom grips + PZ 90mm stem with 42cm drops with new black bar tape and Cinelli gel pads;
    • Front wheel: Varno built - 700c clincher, White 40mm Weinmann Pegasus rim, Black Formula hub, Schwalbe Blizzard tyre;
    • Rear wheel: Aerospoke 700c clincher, originally pink then coated matt black, Continental HardShell tyre, Miche 16T sprocket (3/32), KMC S1 Chain (1/8);
    • SRAM S300 GXP crankset with external BB, 172.5mm, 110BCD, used for less than 100 miles (so far) http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=31618
    • RaceFace 44T chainring (3/32) & chainring bolts - was used on another project before so looks a more tired.
    • Alloy pedals;
    • Ritchey WCS 'Wet Black' 27.2mm seatpost; and
    • Fizik Arione Kium rails (a bit of road rash on one side - I had it since '09).
      As you can see, it's a pretty good built with loads of nice parts - it rides really well, so feel free to come and see it and take it for a spin.

    I'll take to bike to work this week so you can come and see it at Chancery Lane and ride it home.

    £SOLD takes it home complete

    Cheers

    Vince
