• Hi there,

I've had loads of old mountain biking stuff stuck up in the loft for ages and I have now decided to do as my wife asks and get rid of it (as I'm unlikely to get into building mountain bikes again). There's also a few old bits that have just been gathering dust rather than going on bikes.

Any questions please ask... I'd rather veer away from posting cos half the stuff probably just isn't worth it, but if you desperately want something let me know.

The Gary Fisher was built for a friend at work but she could never work out how to get it back to Brighton (train?) and never came up with the cash in the end. Ideally I'd like £100 (ono) as that just about cover the cost of the parts.

    right then...

    1. plastic pedals with toe-straps and reflectors (woooo!), unused - £3 - gone

    2. Alloy A- head stem £4

    1. used grips, bit mashed to say the least. £1

    1. Elite and Specialized bottle cages £1.50 the pair- Gone

    2. riva SPD pedals. I've never used them. they look a bit worse for wear £2.50 (come to think of it, everythings a bit worse for wear!)

    1. trans-x Stem. missing a couple of bolts. £2 - gone

    2. Kalloy 27.2 seatpost, worn, old and probably heavy enough to fracture a skull. £4 -Gone

    3. Atax 1" 90mm centre to centre quill stem from a 1982 Peugeot Criterium deluxe Sports http://cyclespeugeot.com/PDFs/1982UK.pdf (pg. 8) £8 - gone

    4. Atax Handlebars from the same bike- pretty lovely but the usual scratches and marks of something that's 30 years old. Inscribed Guidons Phillipe (with a picture of a cyclist form above) and then Franco Italia D352 in a laurel. £20 -gone

    5. Peugeot crankset and lyotard pedals off the same bike. I think the threads are ok (I'll check them after this is posted). The cranks are fluted and engraved (with a lion- Grrr!) The pedals are pretty done-in- one has a snapped and bent cage. Can't remember if the larger chain ring was slightly bent or not (seem to remember it was but can't see it).
chainrings are 52 and 42 teeth. looks like the BCD is either 100 or 122. Unfortunately I am pretty sure the thread is stripped on the drive side cranks. -** removed until I can check the threading**

    6. Atom levers (off the peugot again) scarred but functional £2.50 - gone

    7. M10 Titanium bolt- long (yet another thing I need to find my tape measure for). 50 pence - gone

    8. seatpost collar- freecycle

    more to follow...
