  • as some of you know this is my blue custom track bike

today i had to change the tires. Stupid skids ruined the other ones!!!
    I tried this ones

is it me or i'll have to set the bike with a silver chainring?

  • Ooh nice. Don't see many white wall tyres but I like them. Black chainring looks ok, matches saddle/bars, but then a silver one would be a good match for rims, stem, post.

Have you considered hiring out your garage front for bike p0rn shoots?

  • Definitely a sliver chainring for me.

  • well, my garage door was also custom made :D lol!

  • whats the wall material?

  • concrete ;)

  • A current project thread for changing tyres?

  • to be fair he's going to have to change them again in a couple of weeks when these ones have skidded through.

  • i never opened a "corrent project" to the bike.
but if you all think it's wrong i can delete it.
I did it becouse some people here asked me to.

feel free to not open the thread than ;)

  • Ah, it's pretty, it's fine.

  • I usually hate those style of black chainrings, but on that build I think it sets off the saddle, bartape, seatclamp and tyres really well.

The only thing I might do is switch the silver chainring bolts for black ones.

  • i'll try it with black bolts ;)

  • Don't do that, because black bolts are alloy, and will come loose.

  • Great frame, who made it?

hummm! i think you have a point there ;)

  • Loose the Miche chainring, such a shame to have that crap on such a nice bike!

  • Great frame, who made it?

i designed the geometry and bought the Easton scandium tubes (frame) and steel fork. Than Valdemiro (Portuguese frame maker) welded the tubes as i asked him too (with "fat" weldings).
After that i spent some weeks smoothing the weldings and preparing it for the paintjob.

Valdemiro already welded me too frames. ;)

    i understand ;)
i'm trying to "find" a dura-ace track cranks/chainring for it but right now my road bike project (pink cannondale) ruined my €€€€€

  • Awesome project.

  • i know i shared this already (not here) but a few users asked me for some pics of the weldings (BB) and i can't find the page (current projects)

    so here it is

  • for those users who asked me about the fork

i made the fork for 700x23c but i had some problems with a few tires. Some 700x23c models don't work here

  • i'm thinking about making a few frames (very limited)
The idea is to make personalized frames (with #number and name of the owner, unique paintjob, etc.)
I have some people asking me for frames like this one (with 1' steel fork) and also like my other bike (with 1' 1/8 carbon fork).

for now it's just an ideia

  • Better start saving pennies! I want the blue one

A nice alu frame and carbon fork would be very tempting indeed.
