it'sjust nice to be out there in a cotton t-shirt and hot pants when riding

  • “man cave”
^ care to explain this jackiespanner?

  • bachelor pad for the modern day neanderthal ?

  • Either that or he is up himself in a manner that would do a contortionist proud.

  • So smutty today Clive!

  • Moi?

    C'est pas possible.

  • Meh. This has been the mildest winter I've ridden through here. #movestobelgium

Exactly what I've been saying recently.

    Back in my etc etc.

  • ^ care to explain this jackiespanner?

I have a dining room that isn't used as a dining room (despite the wife going mental about it every now and then) and I've got all my bike shite in there, computer, desk, pictures, books, bikes, tools etc.

    It's a "man den".

  • Screw you BBC Weather, at 10 to 8 this morning you said it wasnt going to fucking rain.

    Lying fucking bastards.

  • hey no need for that, didn't the audit into the met offices forecasts state, only yesterday, they were extremely accurate !
you must have been mistaken about it raining

  • humbug.

  • Told me it was going to rain at 6pm when I checked it at 08.15. Fickle fucking bastards, that's what they are.

  • Today is first day of spring in NYC. I'm hoping at least. Last Sunday I rode my bike and it was so cold I got a headache. In a hat.

  • Screw you BBC Weather, at 10 to 8 this morning you said it wasnt going to fucking rain.
    Lying fucking bastards.

  • 18 degrees at 18.00 in N Wales today - bloody tropical

  • I genuinely just instinctively (and very swiftly) scrolled back up when I reached that picture.

  • AIX weather on my phone got it spot on this morning. BBC is fail.

    I haz the stupid phonez

  • bye bye winter.
    it's been fun.
    catch you next year

  • Good thread.

[]It takes an extra half hour to put all the winter clothes on.
    [
]Crashing whilst wearing Rapha, Assos etc.
[]Wondering what the “fook” you have to do to keep your feet warm whilst wearing 3 pairs of socks in a pair of shoes (1 size too big) plus overshoes.
    [
]Constantly cleaning my bikes, because as a “roadie” having mudguards is a sign of weakness.
[*]Sitting in my “man cave” starring at my race bike, wondering when the “fooking” winter is going to end and I’ll be able to take it out!

Lol, it’s ok though, I still train hard and ride hard. You can’t make it hard enough!

    great bulletpointing, congratulations

  • every ride you do at present,
sets you up for a fitter spring,
and a base fitness that will serve you all next year.

  • Not me. Every ride I do is shorter and more cautious.

  • I fell off twice last week commuting across an ice rink, I'm sure it's not helping my base..
