You can get proper salt cured beef brisket (corned beef outside UK) as served in Brick Lane beigels from the butcher in Selfridges.
Think its the only place I've seen it retailing and pretty sure its from Hensons who's website says they do supply butchers and delis.
The east end steak company I posted above do it but they add an extra 50% in price for curing it, It seems pretty easy to cure and hang it, will probs give it a go in the near future. Brisket used to be so much cheaper until bloody fearnley-whittingstall made it trendy the cunt.
