Ok so, skyrim is waning now, at least until there's some DLC for it. I havent played myself since January.
So, next up on the horizon: mass effect 3. I quite simply cannot wait for that game. I'm slightly worried that I've lost my hallowed save file from 2, which might mean I need to go back to 1 and start from scratch. Which i'm not at all bothered by, frankly.
Best game series since halo
mass effect got boring quite quickly.
Not so. If you play for story and dialogue it is brilliant.
I'd say get the 360, because you can play copied games on it. Just get your disc drive flashed and then download all the games you want, and burn them to a double layered dvd. You can play online too.
I do still prefer the PS controller, and the free online is great. But the money saved on playing copied games makes up for it. You can't really do that for the PS3.
For the hard drive, yes you can save games to the hdd. It's worth doing because your console runs a lot quieter when playing those games.. I have only 80GB and it's adequate, but then I only ever play FIFA and occasionally Forza or a shooter like Crysis.
If you have a spare 2.5" hard drive with a big capacity, you can always use that.
Wouldn't advise that. When they find out you've chipped your machine, you get banned and loose your gamer score.
If you are going to use a laptop harddrive, (Sata II, I think) change it before you use the existing one as removing it will kill whatever is on there. You'll also need a memory stick with the ps3 drivers to get the new one to work. I think I posted a link near the beginning of this thread about how to do it. If not, psnetwork will have the how to guide.
