"I was in the car on the way to a pub"
You need a pub beater bike then! ;)

Would be nice, but I was going for pub grub with my folks :)

Another outside my office building on campus this morning :) Trying to find out if it's anyone I work with, or random student bike:

Just taken a closer look. Aerospoke front wheel, Paul brake lever, Sugino XD cranks, Brooks saddle. Didn't get a chance to check out hubs and such (co-workers dragging me off to get coffee ;)
I like it!

Wow. That d-lock really should be through the front wheel don't you think? I hope the Cov students aren't a thieving bunch of bastards like the students were when I went to Uni.
These random spottings are what some stickers or spoke cards might come in handy for.

This is outside my building at Warwick Uni. To be honest, bike theft is pretty rare on this campus as far as I know. But then, we're a small side campus just down the road from the main one.
Some spoke cards to leave would be awesome :)

I was in the car on the way to a pub on Hollyhead road this eve. Saw first SS on Allesly old road, heading into town. It was dark and couldn't really see, but a guy riding what looked a bit old school, with flats/old risers and a chain guard. Again, too dark and murky to really get any detail.
Second was another retro looking machine on the way back from the pub. This time on the Hollyhead road, turning right up Four Pounds Avenue. Bit more of a "fixie" look, with chrome drops. Again, riding SS, not fixed.
First time I've seen any other SS/FG around, and both in one night :)
Maybe me? I used to have a ss originally greeny gold then powdercoated sky blue, frame snapped eventually :(

Thanks.
(I was referring to myself as possibly the first one) :) -

It was so long ago, I can't remember now :)
What are you riding now? Stick it in the Current Bikes thread!
