he's asking for his lunch
the driver passed back a scotch egg and he distinctly said pork pie -
• #3
He got dropped by his bike.
As the bike is doing all of the work to break the wind, it must be incredibly hard to maintain speed once you're out of the slipstream.
So he's screaming to his rider to slow down so he can get back on.

Ah, as I suspected, thanks. Must be difficult to communicate with all those engines running.

Have you seen the helmets the motorbike riders wear? They have rear facing vents over the ears so that they can hear the cyclist behind them.

It actually looks like the rider, is clocking the others overtaking him, then shouts allez to his driver to pick the speed up, unfortunately his driver doesn't do this very gradually and goes flat stick, leaving his rider off the back. It definely looks like the rider wanted to go a little quicker and called for the acceleration.
Sometimes, drivers think its thier race and push the riders too hard and drop them. Cardinal sin. -

The drivers always think it's their race and the torque from a triumph v-twin can shuffle the motorbike along at quite a lick

just replace the truimph motorbike with the number 357 from finchley tube to oxford street station and you've got yourself an urban version mike
-
• #17
after the lfgss bff party, coppithat towed me all the way from commercial street to new cross behind his motorbike. as such, urban variants have my seal of recommendation.

If enough support was shown for steher racing there is no reason it couldn't become a regular feature at Herne Hill!

At about the 2:25 mark where the rider seems to be yelling at the pacer? Has the pacer upped the speed too much and left him behind?
