Haye has talent, regardless of whether he's a proper heavyweight or not, you don't get to where he is without working hard and being talented for years before you appear on the scene. However, what I can't stand about him as a south London boy is the terrible and I mean truly appalling example he's setting especially to other young men in south London. Yes his antics are all about creating hype and selling tickets but there are other ways of doing that successfully. Ali was an undisputed big mouth but he did it (possibly with the exception of his 'Uncle Tom' jibes against Frazier) with flair and good humour. Haye just comes across as a spoilt teenager, to his detriment and that of the sport. Yes boxing is (often but not always) a crooked and sometimes ugly sport but that's no reason to perpetuate the stereotypes.
