  • SUNDAY training is slightly different this season, in that it's an un-coached, un-structured session for experienced riders who need to do specific sprint or pursuit drills. There will be no bunch training as you get on Saturdays and Mondays.
    By un-coached this doesn't mean that there is no coach present or you may turn up and do as you please, it means you will need to know what training you wish to do and inform the lead coach at the beginning of the session. Sprint and pursuit efforts, either solo or with other riders, standing starts and sprint observation skills are the mainstays of this session.
    We usually find that each group rotates through a 10-15min on/off schedule. So plenty of time for your 4-5 efforts plus rest in between, provided you turn up promptly for 0900.
