new here, looking for a frame, im about 6'2/3 though so it's gonna have to be 56/58 (does that sound right?). not looking to spend more than £200 or so on the whole build mind - first bike etc.

i should edit that actually, i'll be looking for the parts for a full build, not just the frame.

A guys dropping some frames off for me at the shop tomorrow, I'll see if there's any after I take a couple for some projects I've got coming up, he mentioned a Puch frame which could be alreet, I'll give you a shout if there's anything bike worthy in the lot.

i've got a 56, aluminium frame, fixed gear pinnacle i'm trying to get rid of. nothing special, and some bits need sorting out, but in general it's in good shape.

pm me to arrange giving it a go to see if it fits.

I find you can fix that with some nitromorse, primer and spray paint usually, just don't rush it and fuck your spokes/hubs up like I did.

very true, but it's fairly longish frame. numbers get fuzzy when people start playing with geometry.

good point though, defo not worth committing before taking it for a spin first.

I'm gonna be looking for a polo bike, 6"5 and used to riding a 64cm roadie and a 61cm track but thinking 56 may be good for polo, so i'll take a look at it as well. What bits need sorting as i may have some in the box.

maybe 58/59 would be better, you want it to still be comfortable

im 6ft and rode a 56 steam roller wouldn't want anything bigger so yeh Id say 58 would be about right
