Last night, 5km from the Hook of Holland and after riding from Amsterdam through a gale, my rear derailleur somehow got torn apart leaving me to walk in the pouring rain, wind and darkness cursing my piece of shit bike. No idea how it happened. In the light of day I could see the chain was wrapped around the BB shell so maybe it came off, jammed and pulled the mech until it broke. Don't know how all that happened without me noticing. Major pain in the neck. If anybody wants a ruined derailleur for spares or has a replacement please PM me.
