will do mate! just struggling to find somewhere to live in budget at the moment. i'll be working in wc1, so i need somewhere within riding distance of that, but everywhere seems really expensive!

Within riding distance.
I think anything upto 10 miles each way is perfectly manageable for most people.
10 mile radius of WC1 gives you plenty of scope to get well out of central and find some more interesting/cheaper places to live.Good luck with it.

I was thinking more like 5-6 for a reasonable commute, no showers where im working as far as i know so I dont want too taxing a commute. Do you reckon £500 pm including bills is achievable for that kind of distance?

Rooms like that sometimes come up on the forum, but it's rare. Good luck.

Hello forum. Looking for a ready to go single speed at the moment in the region of £150-200, which has led me here for some advice. My bike just committed suicide.

Do you not work at Evans Cycles? Surely you could get some advice there?
Or are you nothing to do with them? In which case... can you pick another username as it's quite likely that we'll get confused. Just tell me what you want to be called and I'll change it.

It's Cadel's brother.

He's probably called Evan and he's posting about his cycle, without an apostrophe in the username.

Hi all,
I'm Sol.
Originally a skater, now more of cyclist with a skating habit. A good friend of mine built me a fixie recently, from my beloved late man's Dave Russell touring frame. I have never loved a bike this much! It's my baby! Looking for any old reason to ride it, anywhere. -

Hi,

Hi everyone!
I'm Thom. Been living in Camberwell, London for a about 7 years, and cycling in London pretty much the whole time. I guess trial bike riding has always been something I'm very into, but lately been more and more into the roadie side of life. I typically commute, but it'd be cool to attend a ride here and there too! -
