Cambridge Polo

Thinking of banging a 26" wheel in the front of my polo bike so i can see what its like, is this a good idea, an does anyone have a spare 26" front wheel (with a polo-ey tyre) that i can try/rent for a couple of games so i dont fork out to find i dont get on with it...
