  • The buttons on the front of the s/s city jersey appear to be in an unfortunate place.

  • I see they've finally acknowledged that merino wool is not something you want to wear as a baselayer when climbing Alpine col's in July's 40 degree heat... that didn't take long did it? :/

  • and sun sleeves?

    What happened to tan lines?

  • It looks like 2012 is all about pastel* colours.

    Fuuu...
I wish they would make everything available in black...

  • It looks like 2012 is all about pastel* colours.

You might be right, I had cause to look at the Panasonic bike ordering site yesterday and discovered they've added the following new "Classical Pale" (that's Engrish for "pastel") colours:

I'll take one of each plz.

  • The main site it down, but you can still see the S/S 2012 look book and videos (like watching nice but pricey paint dry) here:

  • If only. I have raced against the blonde girl before though, so maybe one day the call will come...

    #nevergoingtohappen

  • Is this Sarah? I can't tell but it looks like her

  • I'm 99% sure the blonde one is Phoebe Sneddon, mulebargirl and writes a decent blog on racing cyclocross/life in general.

  • Ooh, a Rarphar pink shirt. hippy will be pleased.

  • Just got my Rapha/PSmith city jacket today. Ver' nice.

Having been a naysayer I'm really quite impressed at the quality. Still wouldn't justify buying it at full price, but taken the edge off my disdain for the brand. So I've just ordered a Cross jersey.

  • Got given a pair of Merino Knee warmers for Chirstmas, really liked them felt a lot warmer than my crap wiggle ones but tore the RH on a cable guide on my first ride with them. Spoke to Rapha and sent them back for repair, they arrived back today with a very sturdy repair completely free of charge, very impressed.

  • Are the baselayers any good from Rapha? I was thinking of ordering a 3 pack but I'm not sure if I really need that many. I think it averages out to an average merino baselayer if I buy 3 at once. Any cheaper alternatives or anyone who is in need of a single baselayer?

  • If you check out the on one/planet x clearance, they have some killer deals on really good quality merino..... I've bought a few and they are spot on. I'm a bit of a Rapha fanboy too ;0)

  • A lot cheaper! How do they compare to the Rapha ones (just out of curiosity).

Can I use the short sleeve ones all year round? I'm guessing if it's colder, I could just slip on some arm warmers?

  • ^ I have tracked down a Rapha bomber jacket in the wild.

  • What happened to tan lines?

If what I heard about the new skincare range is true Mottram is definitely cray-cray

  • It had to be true.... You couldn't make that shit up!

are you sure that's not just a green Harrington? - my Rapha Fixed jacket has a reflective strip on the back

  • Could be, could be. The hunt continues.

  • hunt? there must be hundreds out on the streets of london after the bargainous winter sale price, everyone seemed to be ordering them...

  • Braker had one on last night.

  • ... baselayers...Any cheaper alternatives...?

    Torm.

    Cannot recommend enough.

  • ...baselayer...cheaper alternatives...

Icebreaker. From specially bred New Zealand sheep.
