Only one Tory and he is a decent Tory and hardly reflective of the mainstream of the party.
Interestingly the MP for the City and Westminster has refused his support. Islington South's MP won't say anything on the subject. (although her local party say she is a front bencher and therefore cannot sign EDMs, neither she nor they will say what her position is.)
so, EDMS, are they worth the paper theyre written on, ?
as I mentioned last page, theres one MP tabling an EDM to abolish EDMS,
they rarely get taken further.
the cycling charities and campaigning groups are calling for distinct measures- immediate changes in law- e.g 20 MPH, they should be implemented by the highest level of authority and followed down to the ground level, backing on the streets by all bodies, Police, L.AS etc immediately.
action is needed now
