The scoreline speaks for itself. What could we possibly say that could top "4-0"?

The Woolwich Nomads losing 4-0 on the return leg would top it...

Until the return leg, Arsenal are still in it which is more than either of the Manc clubs or Liverpool. The latter, of course, was never in it.

Bill, I was going to send Greasy and Senor Bear, a couple of text's after the first goal went in, but decided to hold fire to see if the Arse had anything to offer, then it just got painful, and I felt the result was too one sided and anything I sent would just be kicking a man when he was down.
I've got to say this puts Tottenham's knockout of Milan last year into perspective, as they had pretty much the same lineup, give or take a couple of players. And Arsenal looked shaky from the off. I know Andyp doesn't like saying I told you so when it comes to Wenger's lack of transfer activity, but it looks like Wenger needs to bite the bullet and buy some older heads in, if he wants to get Arsenal back to realistically challenging for the champions league.
The player I was sorry for was Arteta, who'd been waiting for an opportunity like this and had the game pass him by, he and Ramsay looked a bit light weight in the center and too often were bustled off the ball. I think there's a good chance RVP may decide to up sticks, as this team seems no closer to realising it's potential than it was last season, or the season before, or the season before.

Clearly not a true Spurs supporter. They only kick people when they are on the floor.

He's off at the end of the season, whatever, even if we had won the CL or the PL (which didn't look very likely at the beginning of the season). We can't afford his wages, period. He'll be able to get 200 000 + / month, and we can't afford that. The only reason that Spuds have got Adeb is cos Citeh are paying at least half of his wages.
