I'm not an expert on wheelbuilding, but isn't the key thing here that the spoke pattern should be ''cross 3'' rather than ''cross 2'' for 32 spokes? I looked this up when I received my 28-spoke wheels from Harry Rowland - who knows a bit about building wheels - with a spoke pattern I didn't recognise:
