  • My vote for Digger.

    My vote for Digger.
This kind of blatant vote rigging is just unacceptable.

  • A mechanic in Bike Fix did a good build for me last year. Don't know his name, but he is Portguese or Brazilian I think (forrun in any case). Would recommend.

  • Sam at LMNH is deffo the best gluer of tubs I've seen

    Rock solid and absolutely spotless

    Fixed and way too obvious.

  • Jozef's Cycles - Friary Road, Peckham.

Used these guys for a while now, absolutely lovely and the guys a perfectionist.

  • +1 for LMNH - Sam, Nik & Digger

  • Sigma Sports, Across the river from Kingston. I always get good service and I think to work there you need 3 years workshop experience.

  • +1 for Cyclelab at Shoreditch. I left my bike with Krisz and Dan to have the headtube faced and have my new headset fitted this morning, and it they sorted it the same day.

Perfect work from what I can see, and it's nice to get the impression that the guys know their stuff and take an interest. Also their price was unbeatable.

    Cheers!

  • I'm sure there was a more up to date thread on this topic?

Anyway, I wanted to recommend the guys at Blue Door Bikes in Crystal Palace. They're patient, happy to discuss things, let you come into the workshop, see the bike on the stand and go into detail about what they're doing. For those who want to judge carefully what they spend, and do what they can themselves, this level of communication is really helpful. I've always gone to Brixton, who are also freindly and helpful, but Blue door are much closer to me and I'm really glad to have them on the doorstep.

And as many probably know, this is where talbot frameworks are based.
