Sorry I keep bleating on about this every time I see anything like a vaguely classic looking build come together, but would a nice pair of gum wall tyres set it off nicely? Would be a good match for your toffee coloured Brooks items. Something like a Panaracer Pasela?
Not sure what I'd go for with the chain ring - if the stem/bars, post and brakes are all silver (?) I'd probably want to keep it as silver as possible. Can see what you're thinking with black matching the rims though. (All the circular bits matching...)
Anyway... nice!
