Yeah I'm serious, there's so much inspiration in this thread. The one you mentioned does look a bit flimsy, thanks for the heads up. The Tacx is reportedly also very weak. I'd like to try the cheap and simple Minoura one but can't seem to find it with a reasonable shipping charge.

I've got one of these

used for the Dunwich Dynamo and never again. You can have it for a tenner if you want.
