As much as it's harsh my response to people nowadays is: You have to take responsibility for not getting things done and stop blaming externalities.
Because I could ban you, but until you take responsibility about your procrastination then you'll evade the ban anyway or procrastinate in a different way. It's all futile until you change, at which point I don't need to ban you.
Either way... me banning you achieves nothing.
