It's a great game, and just keeps getting better. My girlfriend is far more into it than I am though, which is pretty funny considering how much of a dork i am.

Also, Sumo - unfortunately spot on. Thought it was fantastic up until the point where you realise there's only about 6 or 7 hours of gameplay until everything becomes an utterly tedious aimless grind.

Bit of a let down to say the least - I'd not played it for about 8 months so I started it up last week and quit again after less than 15 minutes.

Once you've dug one mine, you've dug them all. Won't be playing again ;( ..... not having a huge amount of luck finding good new games either so got myself sweating over Empire Total War - British Campaign - Hard - World Domination..... JESUS CHRIST IT'S SOOO DIFFICULT!!!

Absolutely terrible controls, distinctly meh on the graphics front, and 3rd person useability so bad it puts Resident Evil 1 to shame. It was far more fun watching my ex flatmate complete it...

Yeah, the control is pretty ropey on the mouse, I ended up plugging a 360 controller into the PC to play them.

take casing off and wrap it in towels and leave in airing cupboard for a few days should work after that if not whats the worst that could happen

Hmmm I read about that. I think you need to wrap it in a towel, turn it on for half an hour till it overheats and resets the thermostat. It's a temporary fix. Pissed of as don't think I can send it to Microsoft as got this refurbished from game station. Fuck Microsoft though for still churning out crap machines. Perhaps I'll give up gaming and spend more time with my gf (joke)

Will be buying that. Decided I need to play more pc games, otherwise expensive pc and not much gaming is a fail on my part.

Slowpoke as fuck, though I've been playing this terrifying indie diamond from a few years ago, 'Amnesia - The Dark Descent'.
Imagine playing Resident Evil or Silent Hill, but instead of being some badass cop saving the day with a liberal dose of shooting, bashing and "fuck yeah!", you're an effete, 19th century intellectual who's afraid of the dark.
No guns, no power ups, all you can do is run and hide or try to barricade yourself in a room. As an added bonus, the whole experience of waking up in a spooky Prussian castle is driving you insane, so unless you stay in the light and focus on the task ahead of you, your mental breakdown causes hallucinations and other crazy shit.
It's like playing a HP Lovecraft novel and I'm genuinely bricking it at times.
