Get a helmet cam - the driver's set of actions seem pretty irresponsible - you could have submitted the footage to both the plods and the insurance company. We had a bit of that sort of stuff in Australia recently with Shane Warne (the in-famous tosser dating your Liz Hurley) doing similar to a cyclist all the while claiming innocence.
