I got a Veloce chainset off ebay for about £20. I'm actually build a bike with similar specs to you. Xenon levers and rear mech, veloce BB and cranks, Daytona front mech and Tektro brakes.

I've got my eye on a ston of parts on ebay atm. what are you doing for wheels btw?
