I think the purpose will evolve according to what is needed or the direction that is consensually agreed. To begin with the initial goal is to unite all the polo scenes in the UK, and to begin some kind of dialogue.
What it becomes depends on the imagination and enthusiasm of it's members i guess.
Being part of a UK wide organization is a good start, rather than thinking of yourselves as satellites. I think an overlap with the LHBPA is not necessarily unhealthy.
