Anyone have any recommendations on where to get cameras fixed in east/central?
My Canon T70 is shooting the entire roll of film when I load it instead of just advancing to the first frame automatically like its supposed to. -

^ move that to the non digital forum, should get better help there

Considered Sony Nex-7 but it lacks lens options...
Adaptor then access to all Sony Alpha and Minolta lenses?

I'm tempted by this:
That is one ugly camera. The viewfinder can't decide whether it wants to be angular or streamlined and has opted for both. In proportion to the camera it's massive as well.

sure, but it's massive and will defeat the point of downsizing from the 5D

The OM-D looks great, and ticks so many boxes, weather sealing, viewfinder, tiltable screen etc.
But, if I'm going to use legacy lenses (which given how plasticky and electronic most of the m4/3 lenses are, I'd like to) the small sensor means I have to find lenses with half the focal length I want to shoot at and I like shooting wide so that's problematic.
Olympus do have a couple of rather tasty m4/3 lenses that are making it seem more and more attractive though.
Like kboy I also thought I'd get an X-Pro (I already have an X100) but the price is too high and it doesn't seem like enough of the few little things that niggle me about the X100 have been improved upon.
Taxi, the viewfinder bump on the OM-D might be big but it's nothing compared to an add on EVF on the top of a Pen or GF type camera.

Cheaper full frame DSLRs please Japan.

I'm not really a fan of SLR though.
I'd love a full frame digital Konica Hexar AF. The X100 is pretty close, hence why I love it so much.

I've had these Hasselblad scans for well over a year now and only recently popped them onto my Flickr site. I started buying old negatives from an eBay seller in Japan but whilst at my final year at college they invested in a £10K Hasselblad Flextight upright scanner. Here's a couple of the 35mm negs scanned in at 6300dpi:
I think they were taken during the late 50's early 60's but not sure. There's a few more I've uploaded here.

We have real heavy fog just now. Makes everything look pretty awesome...
I like these BTW.

The only rangefinder I've used after an XA was a Leica M9 (with 50mm 1.1 lens). It was utterly astonishing and I loved my time using it but oh my go$h are they expensive.
I hope to try an X100 at some point.

Jesus christ, don't let the pedants hear you call the X100 or the Hexar a rangefinder!
If someone with a Leica (esp an M9) were to overhear that....
Actually, I seem to have a thing for not-quite-a-rangefinder cameras as I've just bought a Bessa L.
As a manual focus digital camera the M9 is pretty much in breed of it's own and I would doubt it is likely anyone will bring anything out that really compares to it.
The X100 and even the X-Pro are really AF cameras that can be focused manually, just.
Same with the Hexar, and the fussyness of the manual focus operation is almost more excusable in it because Konica didn't bother putting a pseudo focus ring on it, they make you control the focus by two tiny, unmarked buttons on the top of the camera!

That's putting it very mildly!

Really having trouble deciding between a Panny GF, probaby 1 or 2, Olympus EP1 or 2 or the X10.
I just need something long for doing portraits n stuff so I'd probably get the Olympus 45mm if I go for one of the m4/3 cameras. Maybe adding the Oly 12mm later on.
I really like the X100 so the X10 seems like it'd be a good accompaniement to it but I do like to do stuff like digital pinhole work which I couldn't do with the X10 but could with an interchangeable lens camera such as the GF or EP cameras. Think one of those 4 bodies and a 45mm lens would cost me just a bit less than the X10.

Here's a couple of the 35mm negs
Very nice. Finding old films is always fun (car boot sales are great for that). There's a thread for film cameras and I'm sure people would like to see them:

That's another reason I sold my DP1 and bought an X100. £100 for an add on viewfinder.
To be honest, it's no bigger than the one of the a900, but it's just so out of place on that Olympus.

I keep convincing myself that if I've got money left over at the end of the month, I could justify somehow buying an x10 to sit beside my x100.
I can't see it...

Doubt it... I'm just childish and greedy when it comes to gadgets.
