  • I served him in my shop last year, really nice man. So sad. RIP.

  • R.I.P Henry, I never met you but I wish I had....

  • Never met you Henry mate, but RIP. Best wishes to all friends and family. Genuinely upset and saddened by this all.

  • Damn really damn...., :( RIP. and best wishes to the friends and Family and the people surrounding him.

  • I've been a cyclist and a Chauffeur in London for the last 16 years, and Henry has been a permanent fixture in my life ever since. He was a great guy, and London's cycling scene is missing one of it's greats.

  • RIP Henry, my thoughts are with his friends and family.
    Awful awful news.

  • terribly sad news. RIP Henry

  • Sad news. Rest in peace.

  • I never had the pleasure of meeting the man, and am saddened I never shall. Such an established figure on the scene leaves an empty space which can never be filled; and should forever be remembered.
It shocks me to think how easily this has happened to someone who has ridden the streets for so long, and will henceforth make me consider just how fragile we are on the road - too often I get filled with dutch courage when cycling through the traffic of London. To see the folly of my attitude thrown in such stark light makes me realise how dangerous the roads can be.
Condolences and respects to those who knew him and his poor family.

    R.I.P.

^ Eloquently put, I would like to pay my respects and will try and make it Friday.

R.I.P, my thoughts to his friends and family, take care out there guys.

  • This saddens and angers in equal measure. He seems, in that short clip and from the above posts, to be a true cycling legend. My thoughts are with any family and friends. R.I.P x
