just watching "the history of hard rock" twelve part documentary on swedish TV (glam rock part - yeah well, covered glam, so that is 44 minutes of my life I will never get back)

and just came across this impressive website. only been in it for a few minutes - but looks good, real good

    how about BRRRRRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA VUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUMMMMMMMMMM

  • So, no Bill Ward in the 'original' line up Black Sabbath

    fuck off Sharon

  • Red Fang and Mastodon absolutely killed it tonight.

  • yeah really enjoyed them again. looking forward to the gig in april with black tusk

Mastodon got a little stadium for my liking with curl, don't really care for that song.

I think that's it for me and 'big' gigs now I spent a lot of the time getting irritated by the people around me and that detracts from the gig I paid to see. I reserve the right to change my mind of course

  • Anyone going to see Hey Colossus on Thursday by the way?

  • I'd just found that and was coming to edit my post. nice little venue that, saw Oxbow there last year (It's the one by the famous cock right on H&I station right?

  • Yep, I've seen a ton of bands there over the years, Brujeria particularly comes to mind as an awesome gig though.

I went to that too, it were awesome, especially in such a small venue. Don't like the lack of pints there though

  • Kerrang! Radio: Watville Primary School Sing Iron Maiden - Flight Of Icarus - YouTube

Not a great version, but it's an improvement on "I am the Music Man" that we did at their age.

  • I saw Hierophant and Deafheaven last night, definitely worth going if you can pick up a ticket for the London show, just for Hierophant alone. Deafheaven were good, in parts, but their drummer kept slipping out of time and stumbling over his blast-beats, which really broke the immersion. My flatmate said 'That is the worst snare noise I've heard since St. Anger', which is an huge par. Whilst I know this is a minor, superficial point, they're the least black metal black metal band I've ever seen. The guitarist was playing a gorgeous baby blue Les Paul and wearing a Morrisey t-shirt >>>>>>>>>>>

Also, their lead singer was doing a lot of gurning and looked like someone from the Joy Division (both band and the... other thing).

I took a bunch of photos and will try and get the short videos I took up at some point.

  • Nice slobber.

  • He was spitting all over the place. Kids these days, so uncouth.
