Indeed not.
Fixed and snow is a terrible idea (unless he's running studded tires).
props to the fact that this^ESB looks my 26er.What do you ride nuknow?
-
• #378
I was riding fixed in the snow yesterday like a boss, albeit a very slow boss and one that avoided snow if possible.

That is the coolest thing ever. I remember seeing it ages ago on the forum and loving it.

Hi guys, my esb, been riding it a lot past days. We have lots of snow here in Helsinki. I've a studded front tyre on my gangsta for icy roads, but fire crosses on this are great for snow. Didn't actually buy this for winter bike, but wanted to try it out. I'm liking it more and more, did a nearly 3 hours ride in our central park this weekend -18 deg. Great bike and I really like the raw frame.

Oouh, I want that ESB, but with disc brake mounts! That'd be rad!
-
• #387
^That'd be awful
-
• #388
Each to his own. It wouldn't be awful.
Maybe aesthetically, not what you'd expect on a trick bike, but definitely not awful. -

Where's the line though? Surely we won't all be riding those mini 20" ones with beefy wheels?

Ted added the gussets and changed the rear bridge on my frame.
Sterling job, very very affordable. -

I was waiting for the day a 24' came about!

It's not 24" specific just an XS 26er frame. It's pretty tidy though.
-
• #395
a slow evolution into a fixed wheel bmx?
-
• #396
24" bike was for someones girlfriend and not intended as full trick bike.
26" is perfect, 24" would just make it harder to do feeble grinds on 2 foot ledges
-
• #397
I prefer 26. 24 would be harder to commute on too.
@Supafltfixiefee - that is one lucky girl. that build is serious

if 24s dont go big maybe this will

Ah man... I've considered trying a suspension fork. Would be so much fun
