Think that might be my replacement for my sadly missing Lamy.
I love the practicality of a 4-colour pen when I'm taking notes. It really helps sort things out in my mind when I come back to them and think the Bic 4-Colour is a classic so I was dead excited when I got the Lamy.
But then again... a ruler! Stainless steel!

i prefer working in pencil, feels quicker, looks neat. but our hand calcs go on file so we need to do them in pen.
tangentially related, i used to like writing in chalk on the greenish blackboards. nice sound, nice smooth feel.
this is a thread for real saddos

My brother got it for me for my 30th- it's the 100th anniversary Starwalker, with the Montblanc mountain made from a diamond:

I still feel guilty about losing my dad's Harlequin, used to take it to school... Someone stole it, it was gold... WAC...
I used to love my Titanium Space Pen, but I lent it to Corny and hillbilly at an LFGSS track day to fill in their track sheets... One of them lost it, they promised to replace it... Nothing... Cnuts!
It's been Bics ever since... Or Pilots...

They look lovely, I backed it on kickstarter, so I got mine for $50, the wait is killing me tho, pledged about 5 months ago, and they're just rolling out the first batch now. Quite cool seeng the process along the way with different manufacturers and issues with getting something from prototype to product.

One thing I cannot tolerate is putting the lid on the end of my pen when writing. Throws the balance too much for me, it needs to be elsewhere. Also I love chewing on a pen.

writing (with the lid stuck on the end, usually, so I dont lose it)
and drawing, usually the faber castel hb, sometimes softer (the black things are bits of rubbers)

Innit bruv.
I don't really write anymore.
I always like having one of these around though, for writing on things going in the freezer mostly:

Fuck, I love pens/pencils... I've got draws and draws of lovely drawing pens/pencils that I never use anymore... Computers >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Please, no one start up a sketchbook/notebook/diary thread...
Proper Leather Shoes.
Watches.
Fashion.
Now pens.
I like to jot stuff down. And I like a nice pen.
I had this Lamy 2000 4 Colour number which I carried everywhere.
But it fell out in the snow from my back pocket yesterday riding home.
From my bic to your mont blanc, what do you write with?
