ive just converted a pair of 8speed shamals to take a 10speed shimano cassette.
+trued them and serviced the hubs.
note- the the 5.5mm socket wrench you need has VERY THIN walls , the only one i could find hat would work was the campagnolo one ( was able to borrow it from LBS ).
also there are two races of loose bearings which rely on only one movable cone for adjustment, so remember to do this before the NDS axle bolt ( the one with the grub screw ).
