  • Dunno why I haven't posted these up here before...maybe someone else has? This is a collection of track bikes I saw when I visited the tiny bike shop my brother works in in Cape Town. They all belong to the owner, and what an incredible collection, and not a brake hole in sight, anywhere!

Slightly tatty, but amazing looking Cinelli...when he found the right NOS Campag seatpost for it he decided it looked too new, so put it in some battery acid in an attempt to match it to the rest of the bike. Nuts.

Original Hetchins. An absolute beauty, so much so I refused a test ride.

Haven't seen many proper Peugeot track frames, this one is awesome, apart from the front wheel. Crazy stem, apparently made by Chas Roberts.

    Lovely Gios.

    Frejus.

Fully chromed Carlton. Again, real shame about the front wheel.

This one is actually my brother's, but resides in the shop also, nicely complementing the existing collection.
