I was just about to buy some straps from him...

Bought these (black straps) about 5 months back and after heavy use wanted to leave some feedback.
They're really good, solid build quality/ stitching and velcro. It can be easy to flatten them and then sometimes struggle to get foot in but its to be expected (the top remains stiff just the sides colapse). Still, at this price point they are an absolute bargain and highly recommend! ★★★★★★★★★☆ 9/10 stars.

Too bad he's banned, though I've got a hunch why.
Bought and payed for a pair of straps in Oct 20 2011 and never received anything.
He stopped replying after a while, and PayPal won't help me 'cos the PayPal payment was never linked to a product or service :S
Anyway, if anybody knows or sees Barry, please tell him to send me the stuff I payed for.

And I think Dennis you r the one who wanted straps posted to Denmark or holland or something? As far as I know, he's posted straps to you not once but twice. Nobody has ever complained not receiving items from him. Have you ever wondered he posts might have gotten lost or something to do with the postal system where you are?

It takes a long time to build up a good reputation but it only takes a second to have it destroyed.

I have nothing but good words for Barry. True gent, always nice to deal with. He delivered my straps to SE1 then went to make another delivery in N1, then came back to SE1 to have a chat about the straps as I said I have some improvements to suggest. Even gave me a set of prototype straps to try after he made some changes. TBH if you want assured delivery, pay for registered post, go standard unrecorded and you take the risk of items missing in the post.

Must concur with coventry eagle. Just received straps which I ordered via ebay less than a week ago and they are the business. Communication with Barry was a breeze and through a tracking number I was able to follow their postal progress to Finland, so no complaints here, quite the opposite I dare say.

Ordered the ones with the world champion stripes and even received extra sew-on decals at no charge.

Gotta agree with the above, I bought the velcro straps and when they didn't fit, Barry gave me a pair of the other type he makes with thinner straps. Told me to pass on the velcro straps to someone who needed them but couldn't afford new straps. Was a real credit to the forum, sadly missed.
