A sad day. [...]
That it is.
Boo.

Braking surface, front wheel:

Dammit, I'll take the wheels if whoever has them on hold doesn't take them.

Toby- I have just PM'd Bobbyfett, asking if he is going to take the wheels, I'll update the thread when he gets back to me.
In response to questions- the Bottom Bracket is this one:
It is Dura Ace Octalink, and you will need to use it with the cranks, as you can see from the picture that square taper is a no-go.
Cranks are these, with self extracting bolts, so you cannot see the end of the axle when the cranks are mounted:
By the way, RRP on these cranks WITHOUT chainring is almost £270, vide: http://www.parker-international.co.uk/6703/Shimano-Dura-Ace-7710-Track-Crankset-WITHOUT-Chainring.html?referrer=froogle&utm_source=google&utm_medium=froogle&utm_campaign=pid6703

I've had a request to split the cranks and BB from the ring.
So:
Dura Ace 7710 165mm NJS Cranks and Bottom bracket £160
Sugino NJS 50T Chainring £25 -

Want those Rocs but got 4 pairs of Atacs already.... I:

And they're both sold.
-
• #34
just as well.
-
• #35
How much NJS do you have in your life though Malaysian? I'm betting the answer to that questions is "not enough".
Luckily, I am in a position to do something about that.
-
• #36
NJS doesn't do it for me... not my cup of tea. Paul hubs laced to mavic CDs though are on their way...
As for the chainset, black 75s are on the list.
-
• #37
Omniums are far better than 75s
-
• #38
DA are better than 75's FACT.
-
• #39
Don't think Omniums will look right though...
DA aren't black enough for me.... #reverseraisis
-
• #40
You could (shudders) Max Crowe them
-
• #41
In all seriousness they are fucking awesome cranks, I'm surprised there has not been any real interest in them.
-
• #42
They are awesome... they deserve to be paired up with DA wheelset though really.
Yusellfixeh anyway?

Spotter- as of yesterday I have no income, so need to create some from that which I have at my disposal.
I may not get a job straight away- and I'd rather not use up any savings.
I had to look at my three bikes and say "which of these will yield the best return, fastest?"
Sadly, the answer to that question was the Penguin Classic.

Ah sorry didn't read through the posts, hope you find something soon and good luck with selling Nemo...

Toby D is enroute to pick up the wheels, Jester is getting one pair of ATAC's, Tenderloin the other.
Still available- the most distinctive frame in South London, and a pair of Dura-Fucking-Ace NJS track cranks.
-
• #46
Could be interested in the frame. Can it take a front brake, what would the price be without cranks and can you post?
-
• #47
I ran a front brake on it, the fork is drilled for a standard road caliper- I used a 105 one.
The price is without the cranks- so £300 for frame/fork/headset/risers/drops/seatpost
-
• #48
Sorry, reading fail there. I'll have a think and let you know.

Sorry Bobby- I couldn't get hold of you and Toby could be here first thing with the money.
Both pairs of ATACs gone (Jester and Tenderloin), wheelset on hold, cranks/chainring/BB and frame/fork/bars remaining
