I have a similar problem with a Shimano 600 freewheel. Could do with a 2 prong tool like above. The the prongs on the Parkeway FR2 tool are slightly to big to fit.
Thanks

Not quite... I have one of those already, just different enough not to work, naturally!
Just been into both my lbs's.. One new and friendly, one old and wise.. Neither of them could help..
Anyone?

you mean one of these?
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CYCLEPRO-BMX-30MM-2-PIN-FREEWHEEL-REMOVER-CPT207-/360581762444?pt=UK_Spots_Leisure_Cycling_Tools_RepairKits&hash=item53f4590d8cThat is the one that works.
It works not very well, but it *does *do the job, and that's all what counts in that case?Important hint: put the tool into a bench-fixed vice, then turn the wheel. Voilá!
Hi,
does anyone of you have a freewheel removal tool (2 prong) with an outer diameter of around 35mm? anything between 33 and 37 will probably work.
It is a nice Shimano '333' 1/8 freewheel that was NOS and I used it just for a test ride, so I don't want to destroy it.
Exactly like this one: http://www.f150online.com/forums/members/struckby99-albums-wtf-picture29434-freewheel1.jpg
I would like to borrow the tool or I come to your place with the wheel, or just let me know where to find a tool of that dimension, google did not help me much.
