That is the nub of the issue, driver education. I believe this is more important than training cyclists. It is something tfl and dFt are beginning to realise as an issue especially with their promotion of shared space. This is what cycle campaigners should really be fighting for rather than Dutch style cycle lanes etc which would make us even less welcome on the roads
