That would be really sensible. So on Sunday, someone could make an allegation that Rooney made a racist remark or Ferdinand made a homophobic slur and that would rule those two out and before long no one would be able to captain England because of unfounded accusations? How would you like to lose your job because someone with a grudge made a complaint about something that you did not say?
