  • The route is meant to take the B4453 but it's currently closed as it's being resurfaced. Riding on the A45 wasn't too bad in a group of 5 on a Sunday. I have seen lone cyclists on it before as I've gone over the bridge. Hard guys.

  • yes the kong ride was ok, jus had unprepared people on it !

  • wernt me mate no, still got the old drops on her

  • Ride this weekend!? May be weather dependant...

  • I'm out I'm afraid, away this weekend!

  • Carlton's still in bits - taking ages to polish the frame up.

  • Would i be welcome?

  • Would i be welcome?

    Of course!

  • More the merrier! No idea how far we'll ride. We don't usually go far to be honest. If it's freezing cold it might just be to the nearest coffee place/bar ;) Someone usually has a lock but it's worth bringing one. I'll have mine.

Tom, any chance of getting my lights back off your mate (who's name I've forgotten!)?

  • The chill on my hands today coming back from work was ridiculous, school boy error not packing gloves!

  • It was bad enough wearing ski gloves!

  • If they were 80's fluorescent pink that makes you awesome, Fact!

  • Loving that cap Steve.

  • If my head isn't too cold, I'll wear it!

  • You can have the cranks off me too.

  • Ah cool! Have you got the campy cranks now?

    Current rides thread ;)

  • No I'm hoping Marcus brings them on Saturday but you could ride back to mine and I can take them off only takes 2 seconds, I was contemplating doing a quick swap in town but I'm probably gonna need to put some more links on the chain.

  • I can bring them and the tools to swap them over. Sure. Unless it snows!

  • Well ill have to get the train to Cov' then, should be fun (i would ride but i don't know the route)

I'll attempt to find the meeting spot on Google maps, any one got a post cost or something? that would be helpful, ill probably recognized it when i see it

  • If you wanted to ride it, here's a route which avoids most of the busy road into Kenilworth:

    Train is easier though ;)

  • The end point on the above map is the Starley statue by the way. The Statue is pretty close to the station, and if you follow the subways towards the town centre, you'll hopefully find it! I'll PM you my number though. The statue is next to a row of estate agents (Loveitt's specifically).
