Don't think there is one, I remember someone talking about the flange combine with deep section rims causing more stress on the spokes, but this is all heresay, as I don't think anyone have problem or issue with them.
I don't think 300g for a rear hubs is particularly light, especially when compared to a cheap Amborsio/System EX/et all that weight something like 285g.
